State Results!!!!!!!

We are VERY proud of the members of “The Pride of Big Walnut” for their performance at OMEA State Marching Band Finals!  The band earned two Superior (I) ratings and five Excellent (II) ratings for an overall rating of Excellent (II).  

Congratulations on a fantastic competition season!

Pep Band Schedule Posted!

The 2011-12 Pep Band schedule has been posted on the Pep Band page (the link is at the top of the page under “Groups”).

ALL band members must perform for at least THREE games of their choosing.  This is part of the regular band grade for the quarter.

Any student that performs for 8, 9, or 10 games will receive an additional ¼ credit on their transcript for the 2011-12 school year.

Solo and Ensemble

Solo and Ensemble participants need to be scheduling time with Mr. Porter to work on their pieces and to begin working with their accompanist!
